Our Goal: To build a community of faithful and informed women who love and respond to God through mission and service.
Purpose: The organized unit of the UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to KNOW God and EXPERIENCE Freedom as whole persons through JESUS CHRIST; to DEVELOP a creative, supportive fellowship and to EXPAND concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the Church.
Circle Meeting Times
Circle 1
Leader: Mary Lynn Howie
Ages: 30-55
Meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30pm in various members' homes, unless otherwise arranged.
Focus: Provide support for those trying to find balance between family and career while continuing to grow spiritually in Christ.
Circle 2
Leaders: Susan Black & Jaye White
Ages: 20-60
Meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 10am in the Fellowship Hall, unless otherwise arranged.
Focus: Young mothers and all who enjoy fellowship, mission work, and volunteering. (Childcare available)
Circle 3
Leader: Irene Buffaloe
Ages: 45+
Meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 1:30pm in the Commons Room
Focus: To provide opportunities to encourage members to focus on special mission interests in a small group.
Circle 4
Leader: Jane Eldridge
Ages: 55-75
Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10am in the Commons Room.
Focus: Fellowship with Christian sisters; support mission projects; help to meet the school needs of needy children.
Circle 6
Leader: Marcelle Stanley
Ages: 50-85
Meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:45pm in rotating members’ homes.
Focus: Informational
Circle 7
Leader: Linda Phillips
Ages: 60-86
Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 1:30pm in the Commons Room
Focus: Spiritual programs and mission programs.
