Available upon request for Bible study participants.
Childcare is available upon request for all worship services, programs and meetings. Please come by the church office and complete a nursery request form or call Dorothy in the church office at 484-0181 at least one week in advance.
- All children must be signed in every time they are brought into the nursery or childcare setting.
- Each parent must complete a registration form to be kept on file in the room and in the church office
- Please leave your child with a bag with dry diapers, a change of clothes and a labeled bottle or sippy cup with drink. (Cherrios or animal crackers are provided).
- Nursing area is available in the infant nursery, Room 131.
- The infant nursery, Room 131, is a “no-shoe” area.
Policies of HUMC Nursery
Diapering Policy – please bring your baby and toddler in dry. Child will be changed if diaper is soiled or wet.
Ill Child Exclusion Policy – children with following symptoms are asked not to enter the nursery or childcare room for welfare of all children:
Fever – 100 degrees or higher taken under arm, 101 taken orally, 102 taken rectally.
Diarrhea – runny, watery, or bloody stools.
Vomiting – 2 or more times in a 24-hr period.
Body rash with fever.
Sore throat with fever and swollen glands.
Severe coughing
Eye discharge
Yellowish skin or eyes
Child is irritable, continuously crying, or requires more attention that nursery staff can provide without hurting the health and safety of other children in their care.
Our children are baptized into the community of Christ’s Body, and the whole community enjoys the pleasures of watching them grow into the likeness of Christ.
