I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I am also husband to Carole, father to Benjamin and Jeremy, and grandfather to Kaylee Marie. A pastor since 1970, I graduated Duke Divinity School in 1972 and have served in the NC Conference of the United Methodist Church ever since. My passions are preaching and bowties. I am privileged to serve Haymount United Methodist Church, a congregation intent on spiritual formation, passionate worship, radical hospitality, and risk-taking service to the world. Why am I first of all a disciple of Jesus Christ? As the Scriptures declare: "In him all things hold together" (Colossians 1:17). - Woody.Wells@haymountumc.com
