Youth Group (ECHO)

Jesus, food, and fun! Haymount offers three weekly events that provide fun and engaging ways for our youth to be involved and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Our youth come to know God personally and reach out to others through service opportunities.

• Sunday School is offered at 10:00-11:00 in room 227, upstairs from the New Life Center. We have good discussion about lessons in the Bible and tie the Bible to what teens are dealing with in their own context. Sunday School meets year round.

• ECHO is our weekly Sunday night meeting for youth, Grades 6-12! We meet from 5:30-7:00 in the New Life Center. Along with studying the Bible and learning about Jesus, we love to have fun and to serve others. Each meeting involves a meal, games, a Bible lesson, and small group discussion. We also offer fun events like Pilgrimage Weekend and a mission trip! ECHO meets year round



• Youth Fellowship is our weekly Wednesday meeting time. We get together to have fun and build relationship with one another! Location varies (please check the Upcoming Youth Events tab for more information), 4:30-5:30. Youth Fellowship meets year round.

• Confirmation is offered every year for those who are in 6th grade. During the Confirmation process, we learn what it means to make a spiritual commitment, what it means to be a United Methodist, and how to live as God’s creation using our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness to all the world. Learning and growing in our faith is a life-long process, and in Confirmation, we reaffirm the vows that were made at our baptism, to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and to live as Christian disciples.
